The True TMC-49-HC milk cooler, designed to accommodate 12 milk crates simultaneously, is well-suited for meeting medium- to high-volume demands in lunchrooms and cafeterias. Accessible for stocking or product retrieval, the interior features a flip-up door on the top and a drop door on the front, both equipped with standard door locks to prevent tampering. The exterior is constructed with white laminated vinyl, and the interior is lined with clear-coated aluminum. Throughout the cabinet, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation ensures effective insulation.
Maintaining stored products between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature is set by operators and can be monitored on an exterior temperature display. The self-contained forced-air refrigeration system employs a capillary tube system with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors ensure consistent air circulation, and the condensing unit is designed to slide out, simplifying cleaning and maintenance.
In an effort to maintain a clean condensing coil over time, the condensing fan motor of this unit blows in a reverse direction for 20 seconds when the compressor starts up. This mechanism helps remove the buildup of debris, dust, and dirt, contributing to more efficient operation. While this feature enhances performance, preventive maintenance on the coil is still crucial to ensure proper functionality over time.
