The True T-23-2-HC reach-in refrigerator is a single-section unit featuring two solid doors, both hinged on the right side for left-side opening. The doors are equipped with magnetic gaskets and self-closing mechanisms to prevent cold air leakage and maintain temperature consistency in the cabinet. The exterior of the cabinet is constructed with a stainless steel front and aluminum sides, providing durability. The interior is made of aluminum with a clear-coat finish, and the stainless steel floor with coved corners facilitates easy cleaning.
To resist corrosion, the evaporator is coated in epoxy. The condensing unit is mounted on the bottom for easy maintenance access. However, this location makes it susceptible to debris intake, especially in environments with particulate matter. The reverse condensing fan motor runs in a reverse direction for 20 seconds upon startup, helping eliminate dirt and dust buildup on the condensing coil. While this feature aids in coil operation and extends lifespan, it should complement, not replace, regular maintenance practices.
