This manual can opener accommodates cans measuring up to 14″ tall, and it can easily open about 50 cans per day. It can do all this thanks to an incredibly durable design. The blade, gear, and shaft are all constructed of stainless steel for long-lasting use, and the opener’s head, handle, and knife are forged from cast steel, as well. The can opener also has a plated steel screw base with a replaceable insert, which gives it a tighter fit and smoother slide action.
The Edlund Universal Series U-12 Manual Can Opener is easy to clean and maintain, too. A pull pin allows users to quickly swap out dull blades when they need to be replaced, and the entire unit disassembles easily whenever it needs to be cleaned.
