If you have an existing counter-top self-serve set up with a sneeze guard and an overhead light, or you have a prep table for plating hot foods, you can add the wonderful ability to protect your cooking of a drop-in electric Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit. Here’s a 4 inch deep stainless steel unit built to accommodate two 12 inch x 20 inch full size pans which aren’t included. It’s thermostatically controlled, with a setting range of 1 to 10 and a heat indicator light. The control is attached to the well by a 36 inch long water tight tether and can be flush-mounted to a counter-top. Water isn’t added to the well, so a drain isn’t needed, and lime and scale don’t build up. You’ll also be protected from steam burns.
