You can add the 4-3/8 inch stainless steel electric drop-in Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit with a large flange to your front-of-the-house if you have a self-service counter-top with a sneeze guard and overhead lighting or a prep table for plating hot foods. Here’s a unit made to hold three 12 inch x 20 inch full-size pans, which aren’t included. It’s also thermostatically controlled, with a setting range of 1 to 10 and a heat indicator light. The control is attached to the well by a flexible water-tight 36 inch tether, and can be flush-mounted to the counter-top. You don’t add water to the well, so you don’t need a drain. The build up of lime and scale deposits is eliminated, and steam burns are prevented as well.
