The Berkel X13E Manual Gravity Feed Slicer is designed to save time and effort in a commercial kitchen setting. Used to quickly and easily slice cheese and processed meat, this manual slicer is suitable for use by delis, supermarkets, grocery stores, and restaurants. It comes with a polished, hardened 13″ knife that delivers up to 1-5/16″ thick slices using the index knob. The knife sharpness is maintained by the submersible sharpeners with borazon stone and its non-slicing part is secured by a ring guard for user safety. This slicer’s feed tray is mounted at a 45 degree angle, which uses gravity to better hold the product against the knife for maximum output with lesser efforts. This model comes with a fence to hold small food items. The push-button switches are sealed and mounted on the index knob to keep them safe from food drips and spills. An LED power light indicates when the slicer is in use. It features a multi-grip handle that helps the user operate the machine easily.
